Cumin Rice
Here's what you will need:
· 1 1/2 cups rice
· 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
· 2 tsp. cumim seeds
· 1 large clove garlic, minced
· 1 tbsp. butter
· Salt
· 1 large potato, diced
Melt butter in covered skillet. Add garlic and cumin. Stir for 30 seconds to
release flavor. Add diced potato and salt and cook for one minute, stirring constantly.
Add rice, and continue to stir over medium heat for about 3 minutes until potatoes and
rice shows some light browning. Add chicken broth and cover pot. Reduce heat to simmer
until rice is done, about 20 minutes.

Stir-Fried Bok Choy
Here's what you will need:
· 1 or 2 bunches Bok Choy (Chinese green cabbage)
· 1 tbsp. oil
· 1 clove garlic, minced
· 1 tbsp. soy sauce or Chinese oyster sauce
Cut bok choy into 1 inch pieces. Heat oil in wok or large skillet. Add garlic and cook
for one minute, then add bok choy. Cook over high heat for another minute or so until
bok choy begins to show deep color. Add soy sauce or oyster sauce and cook for 30
additional seconds.
