Pork Ribs in Black Bean Sauce
served with Steamed White Rice
and Stir-Fried Broccoli with Oyster Sauce Presented by Ronna Reed for March 15, 2007
Pork Ribs in Black Bean Sauce (Serves 4) Here's what you'll need:
• 2 pkgs. Celebrity Pork Back Ribs (about 2lbs.)
• 3 tablespoons salted black beans
• 3 tablespoons ginger, minced
• 1/2 cup dry sherry or Chinese rice wine
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon roasted sesame oil. • 1 bunch green onions, finely chopped • 1 tablespoon sugar • 2 cups water
Combine all ingredients except pork back ribs in a large bowl and mix well. Place ribs in crockpot and pour over seasoning mixture. Cook on high setting for at least 5 hours, or low setting for at least 8 hours. Garnish with thinly sliced green onions and serve over hot rice.

Stir-Fried Broccoli (Serves 4) Here's what you will need:
• 2 cups frozen Celebrity Broccoli
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 tablespoon peanut or canola oil
• 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
• 1 tablespoon water
Heat oil in pan and sauté broccoli with garlic on high heat for three to four minutes .Add oyster sauce and water and cover pan for an additional minute or so until broccoli absorbs the liquid. Serve warm.
